Chairman of FTO Dr. Asif Jah met Ansar Javed, Chairman of Birth Defects Foundation and CEO of a media channel, during a session at the Chamber of Commerce. Ansar Javed has been friends with FTO Chairman Dr. Asif Jah since 1991 – a 34-year-long friendship.A session was held at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce in which Dr. Asif Jah was invited as the chief guest to speak about the policies of the FTO, the business community, and the facilities being provided to them. During this event, the two old friends met each other with great warmth and exchanged best wishes. Dr. Asif also introduced Ansar Javed to the President of the Lahore Chamber, Mr. Abu Zar Shah.Speaking at the session, Ansar Javed said:“I have known Dr. Asif Jah for 34 years and have witnessed many ups and downs in his life. Wherever he worked, he faced challenges, but due to his commitment to charity work and honest service in his departments, Allah helped him through various trials and blessed him with His mercy. Wherever Dr. Asif went, he didn’t just do a job – he created systems. God willing, he will do the same at the FTO – establishing a system that future successors will be compelled to follow.

Dr. Karen Sue, the Medical Director of the Care Foundation USA, conducted a virtual OPD session from the head office of the Birth Defects Foundation (BDF) located in Lahore. During this session, she adjusted the daily dosage of Hydrocortisone and Florinef for children suffering from CAH, a type of gender-related birth defect that requires lifelong medication.
