Assembly of God Church, Youhanabad, Lahore, Pakistan, Invites Chairman Ansar Javaid of the Birth Defects Foundation
On Sunday, March 30th, the Assembly of God Church in Youhanabad, Lahore, invited the Chairman of the Birth Defects Foundation, Ansar Javaid, to educate and raise awareness within the Christian community about intersex conditions (gender ambiguity) and transgender issues. This marked his third presentation at a church.
The church administration and congregation warmly welcomed him and attentively engaged in the discussion. At the end of the speech, two children with birth defects were identified and scheduled for an OPD appointment on Wednesday.
Chairman Ansar Javaid assured the church administration and worshippers that, God willing, the Birth Defects Foundation plans to establish three new centers in Youhanabad (Lahore), the Kartarpur Corridor, and the Torkham border (KPK). These centers will facilitate patients traveling from Afghanistan via Torkham and those coming from India via the Kartarpur Corridor.
