With the support of the Care Foundation USA, the Birth Defects Foundation conducted an online OPD for CAH (Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia) patients to adjust their medication dosage. Dr. Karen Lin Su, MD, Medical Director of the Care Foundation, provided guidance to the parents and children at the Bahawalpur center during the session. Dr. Nasir Mahmood acted as the translator and Coordinator for the online OPD.

On this occasion, with the support of BDF, a health check-up was made possible for all the children in a nutrition camp, while wonderful birthday celebrations, were organized with a delegation of Kinnaird College students.

All the prestigious guests encouraged the girls of Kashana Home with beautiful praying words and appreciated their talent and efforts.

The Birth Defects Foundation has signed an MOU with the Lahore School of Behavioral Sciences at the University of Lahore. An excellent meeting took place between the Pakistan Academy of Family Physicians (PAFP) and the Birth Defects Foundation (BDF), featuring (from left to right): Dr. M. Manzoor Janjua, Dr. Abdul Rauf, Dr. Altaf A. Cheema (Chief Operating Officer), and Ansar Javaid (Chairman of the Birth Defects Foundation). During the meeting, Dr. Altaf A. Cheema announced the 4th PAFP Conference, scheduled for February 2025. The Birth Defects Foundation will be provided a complimentary stall at the event, with invitations extended to Ansar Javaid and Professor Dr. Afzal Sheikh to deliver lectures.
